As Chief Financial Officer, Shane Lawrence, CPA, provides financial guidance to the senior leadership team and is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling METUS’ financial-related activities.

Among his other duties, he is secretary of the company’s board of directors, leads the evaluation of short- and long-term planning and strategic goal-setting, and is responsible for establishing clear governance for financial reporting and auditing.

Before joining METUS, Lawrence spent 20-plus years in global leadership positions for Trane Technologies, most recently as director of investor relations. He held several other roles, moving up through Trane, including director of Financial Planning and Analysis and director of Financial Reporting.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a minor in Spanish, and a master’s degree in accountancy, all from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah. Lawrence is also an Eagle Scout.
