Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating Names Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain Management
Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. Cooling & Heating Division (Mitsubishi Electric), a leading manufacturer of Zoned Comfort Solutions™ and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) cooling and heating systems, announced that Steve O’Brien has been promoted to senior vice president of sales, marketing and supply chain management.
In this role, O’Brien is responsible for the residential and commercial businesses, including marketing, business units and end-to-end supply chain. He will continue to provide expertise and direction to the U.S. residential team and work closely with Tom Dowling, vice president, commercial business, and Guillermo Juvera, vice president, supply chain management, on overall strategy execution. Some of the programs O’Brien oversees include training, high performance building, strategic accounts and product planning.

O’Brien joined Mitsubishi Electric in 2015 as vice president, residential business, where he oversaw directors in the division’s five residential business units and managed communication between the regional teams to ensure all core business operations are unified and align with corporate business goals.
O’Brien holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from the State University of New York College at Potsdam, Potsdam, New York, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio.
