Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating Division Announces John Stowell as Senior Director of Marketing
Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating Division (Mitsubishi Electric), America's No. 1 selling brand of ductless cooling and heating systems, announced the appointment of John Stowell as senior director of marketing.
In this role, Stowell leads the branding and market positioning of HVAC products and solutions within targeted market segments, in addition to developing the Division's strategic market performance goals. He also oversees all customer- facing marketing activities and commercial and residential programs and promotions.

"His widespread knowledge in marketing and branding combined with his strong leadership background will serve us well as we continue to extend our efforts here in North America."
Stowell comes to Mitsubishi Electric from Zep Sales & Service, Atlanta, where he served as the director of innovation and segment marketing for the last five years. Prior to this role, Stowell held marketing positions at INVISTA Performance Surfaces and Materials, H.J Heinz Corporation and Coca-Cola USA, where he spent 14 years in a variety of directorial positions. Before beginning his marketing career, Stowell served four years in the U.S. Army.

Stowell holds a Master of Business Administration with a specialty in marketing from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, N.C., and received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, Okla. He is also a member of the Product Development and Management Association and the American Marketing Association.
